Frequently asked questions

How to Improve with Improzo

Straight answers for commercial, medical, and IT leaders.

Why Improzo, and not the alternatives?

How we differ from platforms, horizontal AI, and consultants.

What is Improzo, in one line?

The AI execution layer that makes the pharma stack execute.

Improzo is an AI execution accelerator firm for life sciences. We install domain-trained AI agents and accelerators inside the systems pharma already owns, so teams move from fragmented insight to governed action.

We are not another SaaS platform and not another consulting layer. We are the application engine for pharma execution.

Why Improzo instead of another enterprise AI platform or a general-purpose AI tool?

Pharma does not need another platform, and a flexible tool still leaves you to build it for pharma.

A new enterprise AI platform means a new license, a new migration, another interface to adopt, and another long implementation before anyone sees value. General-purpose AI tools are the opposite problem. They hand you a toolkit and a blank page, so you still supply the pharma context and pay the integration bill.

Improzo does neither. We install accelerators into the environment you already run and make your current systems execute harder, arriving already built for pharma commercial and medical work, with:

  • Domain-trained logic for field, medical, launch, and market workflows
  • Governed outputs with traceability and review built in
  • Workflow patterns shaped by how pharma actually operates

We have worked with consultants before. How is Improzo different?

We are a tech accelerator firm. We build and run, not just advise.

Consulting usually ends at the recommendation. Improzo ends in production, with working accelerators embedded in your stack, governed, operated, and improved over time, and we stay accountable for the outcome.

The team understands the pharma operating model deeply, but the deliverable is software that executes in daily operations, not a slide deck you are left to implement alone.

Why do most pharma AI pilots stall, and how is Improzo different?

Because they do not embed AI in the existing tech stack or solve the connections between platforms.

Pharma already runs on approved enterprise systems such as Veeva, Salesforce, Snowflake, IQVIA, AWS, Databricks, and Tableau. Most pilots live outside that environment, so they never touch the daily flow of work. The signal stays trapped, the action stays manual, and the pilot quietly expires.

Improzo closes that last mile. We install domain-trained accelerators across the systems pharma already owns, turning fragmented data into governed action inside the tools teams use every day.

What Improzo builds, and how it runs

What we deliver, how it works, and where Improzo's iZO fits.

What is an Improzo accelerator, and how is it different from an app or a chatbot?

A prebuilt, domain-trained pharma workflow that installs into your stack.

An accelerator is not another app to log into and not a generic chatbot. It is an execution workflow built around a specific commercial or medical problem, such as field voice capture, MSL insights, KOL intelligence, launch planning, forecasting, market research, compliance monitoring, or brand intelligence.

Each one is composed from reusable agents, so the first builds the foundation, the second deploys faster, and the third costs less. That is the compounding model.

What is Improzo's iZO?

Improzo's agentic platform, the orchestration and governance layer our accelerators run on.

Improzo's iZO connects authorized data sources to downstream systems such as CRM, HRIS, ERP, dashboards, and operational workflows, then governs everything, including:

  • Orchestration across multiple agents and systems
  • Governance on every output, with compliance checks and policy guardrails
  • Source traceability and auditability
  • Ask iZO, a natural language interface for governed interaction with enterprise data

The layers are swappable, so your existing technology investments stay protected.

Which commercial and medical workflows can Improzo run?

Six capability areas across the commercial and medical value chain.

Improzo delivers accelerators across six areas:

  • Voice Intelligence
  • Field & Engagement AI
  • Launch & Forecasting AI
  • Brand Intelligence
  • Medical Insights & Decisioning
  • Market Research AI

Together they capture signals, structure intelligence, route the next action, and govern the output.

Can Improzo work alongside our existing vendors and system integrators?

Yes. We work with your existing partners, not against them.

Improzo is designed to sit on top of the investments you have already made, including your platforms, data partners, and system integrators.

The accelerators plug into that landscape rather than competing with it, so the value of your existing relationships compounds instead of getting displaced.

Data, compliance, and ownership

How we connect, what we touch, and how it stays governed.

Do we have to migrate our data, and will it be used to train your models?

No on both counts. Your data is yours, it does not need to move, and we do not train on it.

Improzo connects to data where it already lives, including (but certainly not limited to) Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Veeva, Salesforce, IQVIA, Qlik, MicroStrategy, and Tableau. We work with the sources you authorize, with the permissions you grant.

We do not replicate your data, warehouse it, or train models on it. Improzo's value comes from domain-trained agents and reusable accelerators, not from collecting or learning on client data.

Your data stays yours.

Our compliance and IT teams blocked our last AI initiative. Were they right to?

They were guarding against the architecture we avoid, but there is another path forward.

Many AI tools copy data into their own cloud, add another login, and run outside existing controls. A strong compliance or IT team should be right to stop that. Improzo is built to clear the same governance bar as the systems already in place, with:

  • Access governed by role and authorization
  • Source traceability on every output
  • Audit logs and human review where required
  • Guardrails configured to your policies

Is Improzo built for pharma compliance, including AE, PV, off-label, and MLR risk?

Yes. Governance is built into every accelerator, not added afterward.

Outputs can be routed through the controls your teams expect, including:

  • Compliance checks and policy guardrails
  • Adverse event and pharmacovigilance detection
  • Off-label gates
  • Source traceability and human review
  • Access by role and full audit logs

That is what lets commercial, medical, compliance, and leadership teams trust the system in daily operations.

Who owns the outputs and the workflows you build?

You do.

The intelligence runs on your data, inside your environment, under your governance, so the outputs and the operating value belong to you.

Improzo brings the accelerators, the agents, and the operating model. What runs in your stack stays accountable to you.

How we engage, deploy, and what it costs

How you start, how fast you go live, and how pricing works.

We do not have an AI strategy yet and want to start small. How does that work, and how fast can we go live?

You do not need a finished strategy. Start with one real workflow and be live in weeks.

The best place to start is a single bounded workflow with a clear owner and a clear measure of success, not a finished roadmap. We install into the right systems and data, govern the outputs so your teams trust them, and put the workflow into daily use. The strategy then forms around evidence rather than slideware.

Because Improzo installs into your existing stack instead of requiring a migration, the first accelerator is typically live in four to six weeks, and each one after in one to three weeks. From there, the model is simple: deploy, trust, expand.

  • Deploy one visible pain point through a low-friction paid pilot
  • Trust the outputs through governance, traceability, and review
  • Expand into the next brand, function, geography, therapeutic area, or workflow

Each accelerator reuses the foundation before it, so value compounds with every step.

How do you measure success, and what results have teams seen?

By outcomes through execution and adoption, not just activity, and the results bear that out.

Success is defined with you before we start, and usually combines:

  • A measurable operating outcome, such as time saved, lowered risk, higher quality, or faster action
  • Real adoption inside daily workflows
  • Outputs that pass your governance and compliance review

If it does not improve how work gets done, it has not worked. Across engagements, that discipline shows up as:

  • 130% net revenue retention
  • 100% customer retention
  • 60 to 80% productivity gains and 35 to 37% cost savings across key roles
  • Selected for the Snowflake Startup Accelerator, Winter 2026 cohort
  • Recognized in the AI Impact of the Year category at the 2026 Digital Engineering Awards, with CNBC-TV18 as media partner

Teams start with one accelerator and expand because the first one worked. Improve with Improzo.

Do we need a dedicated team to run it, and is Improzo priced like SaaS?

No on both fronts. Business teams can run it, and there is no SaaS tax.

Accelerators are built to be run by the teams who own the work, business, commercial, and medical. Where it helps, Improzo can operate the accelerator in a fully managed model while you scale internal adoption, so you move quickly without standing up a new AI function from day one.

On cost, there is no platform tax, no per-seat sprawl, and no new system of record. Clients usually start with a low-friction pilot under an enterprise MSA, then expand into adjacent accelerators at lower incremental cost.

Pricing is tied to the execution Improzo delivers and operates, not to seat counts for software people log into.

Who is behind Improzo

Who you work with, what the name means, and what drives us.

Who is behind Improzo, and what is the mission?

Operators who built and scaled the last generation of pharma analytics and technology, on a mission to improve life.

Improzo was founded by Inderpreet Kambo and Abhishek Trigunait, with a team that has deep roots across IQVIA, ZS, Veeva, and pharma commercial and medical operations, including the leaders who helped set the gold standard in pharma analytics. We have lived the operating model, the failure modes, and the buying reality.

The name says the rest. Improzo combines Improve and Zo, the Greek word for life. In a sentence, we aim to improve life by empowering our customers.

That is our mission: to help biopharma close the gap between insight and execution using AI, data, and deep domain expertise, and to be known not for the sophistication of our models, but for the tangible difference we make in how pharma operates and in how quickly patients benefit.

Co-founder Abhi Trigunait was named an AI Trailblazer of the Year at the 2026 Digital Engineering Awards.
